Not only was Bob a fine teacher, both intelligent and learned, but also a wonderful colleague, generous and high-spirited, - what the English used to call "a clubbable man". That he was, in addition, both an old-fangled gentleman and a devout Catholic was extra grace and blessing. To Pat and Robby: our prayers and best wishes. He will be remembered!

Mr. Weimann was always a warm presence in the classroom. He had a twinkle in his eye and was always ready to crack a joke. Thank you Mr. Weimann.

Thank you, Mr. Weimann, for your deep generosity and kindness, and for convincing me not to be a doctor. ("Come on, Kelly, you don't want to be around sick people all the time... Now, what's the name of this cat's muscle?") You made all of us better readers, thinkers, and human beings. Though your voice may now be quiet, your spirit echoes through us all. Rest in Peace, gentle soul.
