Charles Frederick Kalle’, age 70, of Bronx, NY passed away unexpectedly at his home Sunday, May 12, 2019. He was born in NYC on September 12, 1948 to Charles and Ruth Joan (Smith) Kalle’. He is predeceased by both parents.

Charles attended DeWitt Clinton High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Army serving as a combat medic in Viet Nam. Charles also worked for the Metro North Railroad. He was an avid reader and enjoyed sports, both playing (when he was younger) and viewing (as he got older). He had a passion for motorcycles and the Bronx neighborhood where he grew up. Charles had a terrific sense of humor and loved telling animated stories about his experiences and recollections of others. He was quite entertaining!
Charles is survived by his daughters Geri Reitman, Janine (Michael) Whitehead and a son Charles Kalle’. He has five grandchildren Anthony, Christopher, Edward, Gianna and Alexis. He also leaves his two brothers Christopher (Beatrice) Kalle’, Craig (Joanne) Kalle’ and his sister Janine Kalle’. He will be missed by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A visitation and service is scheduled for Friday, May 17, 2019 at McKeon Funeral Home, 3129 Perry Ave., Bronx, NY from 8 AM to 10 AM. A Private Burial immediately following at Mount Hope Cemetery, Hastings – on - Hudson, NY.
